IEEE Day, officially known as IEEE Day – The Day of IEEE, is an annual celebration that highlights the role of engineers, technologists, and innovators in advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. It commemorates the formation of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the contributions of its members worldwide.

This year, IEEE SMU had the pleasure of celebrating IEEE Day with engaging activities, inspiring talks, and collaborative events that showcased the creativity and innovation of our members. It was a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, share knowledge, and honor the impact of technology in shaping a better future.
